An overtly feminist reimagining of the ‘princess waiting to be rescued’ scenario. Muir burns through tropes with scathing level-headedness, not merely empowering Princess Floralinda but awakening her. That being said, the narrative voice wavers as if somewhat unsure of its target audience.
